πŸŽ₯ FLIPPED CLASSROOM: BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN SCHOOL AND HOME πŸŽ₯

Hello friends😊! This week, our assignment was to create teaching videos for a flipped language classroom. To start, we learned what a flipped classroom is.πŸ“š

To put our knowledge into practice, we were given two assignment options, and as usual, we chose the one we preferred. We decided to create a vocabulary teaching video for 5th graders.πŸŽ₯ We completed the assignment with Mihriban Γ‡izme; you can access her blog by clicking her name.

First, we examined the applications our teacher suggested in the instructions. We chose the ''Animaker'' application because it allows for more animated movement, but other options like Powtoon and EdPuzzle are also available. Creating the video was very instructive, and we particularly enjoyed designing a personalized character and making the background.πŸŒ† However, uploading the audio was quite challenging for us because we had difficulty finding a quiet environment in our dormitory, and our internet usage was limited. I also faced technical issues, such as my computer freezing while using the application.😣 Despite these challenges, we found the process of completing the assignment enjoyable.✨

I believe that this will be the type of lesson material I use most often in the future due to its many advantages. The flipped classroom model promotes a student-centered learning approach. In this model, students engage with course materials at home and dedicate class time to interactive activities such as discussions, practice, and problem-solving.πŸ™‡ This allows students to receive one-on-one support from the teacher while learning at their own pace. Furthermore, this method encourages deep learning and helps students develop critical thinking skills. The efficient use of time and the opportunity for individualized learning make the flipped classroom model an effective educational method.πŸ’»

When we examined examples of the assignment, we reflected on how we would create it. Ultimately, we learned together, helped each other, and succeeded in the task.πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰

I have attached the material we designed below. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section and stay tuned for more updates! πŸ’

There's so much more to learn. See you in the next post! πŸ‘‹πŸ˜Š
